Horseshoe Crab Spoon

This is the first metal piece I've ever created. It was a project for my 3D design class in College, which had to be a "spoon". I was lucky to have fine metalsmith Sophia Park as my instructor for that course. She taught me the basics of metalsmithing from initial sketching and sawing metal to riveting and finishing a piece. This piece inspired me to start metalsmithing. It's a special piece, both a symbol of and a tribute to my favorite sea creature: the horseshoe crab.
